Crock Pot Oval Programmable

Many people enjoy the ease of use and convenience of preparing meals in a slow cooker or "crock pot". The newest generation of these little kitchen helpers have an oval shape that allows for cooking larger quantities and fitting in larger cuts of meat such as roasts and whole chickens (or multiple chickens).  

The programmable feature allows you to put your meal together at night or in the morning, before leaving for work and the meal will be perfectly done when you return home and are ready to eat! No more rushing around the kitchen preparing a meal for the family after a hectic day at work. Finally, someone is thinking about the mom's responsibilities!

I recommend buying one a little larger than you think you will need, as they are great for serving guests at dinner parties and such. You can always cook smaller portions in them as well, without having to worry about the oven heating up the whole kitchen or wasting all that power or gas.

Many accessories are available as well, such as carrying cases, for taking the meal on the go with you to the PTA meeting. I also want to remind you of the huge selection of great cookbooks that allow for some amazing dinner ideas with little effort and planning on your part.

These little gadgets are truly a godsend and have made my life so much easier! I have given one to each of our kids as they head off to college as well, so they can continue to enjoy the wonderful meals they remember from home and mom's kitchen.
